Salman Khan collaborates with the first Kho Kho World Cup as a brand ambassador

Indian sensation Salman Khan has been appointed as the brand ambassador for the first-ever Kho Kho World Cup, which will be held in New Delhi from January 13 to January 19, 2025, according to a statement released today by the Kho Kho Federation of India (KKFI). The news was made at a media conference at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium during the National Players Training Camp. KKFI President Sudhanshu Mittal, KKFI General Secretary MS Tyagi, and Indian men’s and women’s players and coaches were present.

Salman recalled his sporting past as he expressed his excitement for the inaugural Kho Kho World Cup. Megastar expressed his excitement at the sport’s globalisation and praised the effort to hold the World Cup in the country’s capital. “I’m honoured to be a part of the inaugural Kho Kho World Cup 2025! This is a celebration of India’s soil, spirit, and power, not just a competition. We’ve all played Kho Kho at some point in our lives, including me,” Salman Khan wrote in a statement. “It is a sport that has already drawn attention from all over the world because of its constant action and unwavering energy. “Let’s unite and honour Kho Kho’s spirit on the international scene,” he continued.

24 countries will go to India for the Kho Kho World Cup, which will include 21 men’s and 20 women’s teams participating over the course of a week. Prominent players such as Pratik Waiker, Aditya Ganpule, Ramji Kashyap, Dilip Khandvi, Suyash Gargate, Gautam M.K., Sachin Bharghava, Vishal, Arun Gunki, Priyanka Ingle, Magai Majhi, Muskaan, Meenu, Chetra B, Nasreen, Reshma Rathore, and Nirmala Pandey participated in a demonstration match for the men’s and women’s teams.

Fans worldwide will have the opportunity to see the excitement of the sport during the competition, which is expected to be a spectacle. The KKFI has established an equal platform for men and women because it is committed to giving all players equal opportunities.

Sudhanshu Mittal, the president of KKFI, thanked Salman and said that his attendance will increase World Cup attendance. “We would want to thank Salman Khan, the celebrity, for taking time out of his hectic schedule to support our beloved Mitti ka Khel. His enthusiasm for the game is incredibly motivating, and we have no doubt that he will raise awareness of the 2018 World Cup across the country. We have done everything we can to ensure that the first Kho Kho World Cup is a huge success, and we are eager for the fans to see what we have in store for them.”

With an official declaration of support for the event, the Indian Olympic Association (IOA) and the Kho Kho Federation of India (KKFI) have reaffirmed their collaboration.
