The Indian Physical Disability cricket team put on a dominant display at the FTZ Cricket Grounds in Katunayake, defeating bitter rivals Pakistan by a score of 109 runs in an exciting league match of the PD Champions Trophy 2025. India’s decisive win demonstrated their supremacy and will to win the competition.
India chose to bat first and amassed a respectable 160/4 in the 19 overs they were given. With an incredible 59 runs off just 47 balls, including three sixes and six boundaries, Nikhil Manhas taken the lead. The Indian captain, Vikrant Keni, provided him with strong backing by scoring a quick 37 off 23 deliveries. With their most economical bowler, Waqif Shah, giving up runs at a rate of 5.50 runs per over, Pakistani bowlers found it difficult to control the Indian hitters.
