As the Legends League Cricket (LLC) tournament is ready to take over Srinagar’s Bakshi Stadium, an international cricket match is scheduled to take place in the heart of Kashmir.
One of the competing teams, Southern Superstars, has already made its way to Srinagar, where the major event’s stage is ready. Dinesh Karthik, Martin Guptill, Pawan Neri, and Kedar Jadhav are among the cricket players who have already arrived in the Valley. “Players and other staff of five teams will stay in a hotel in Rajbagh,” he said.
Cricket fans in the valley are incredibly excited and can’t wait to watch the international players play. Renowned cricket players such Chris Gayle, Shikhar Dhawan, Irfan Pathan, and Ian Bell are competing in the LLC, which takes place from October 9 to October 16.
This is the first time in almost forty years that an international cricket match is scheduled to take place in the heart of Kashmir.
To guarantee the protection of both players and spectators, authorities have increased security. Originally intended to be used for football, Bakshi Stadium has been renovated to host international cricket matches. “It was selected over Sher-e-Kashmir Stadium because it can accommodate over 30,000 people and allows more fans to watch the event live,”
