Navjivan Exp gets ‘LHB’ied

It was the turn of Charminar Express to get LHB coaches, now it is Navjivan Express that will get them. LHB coaches are said to have more passenger carrying capacity and better safety features in them.
Navjivan Express connects Dr. M.G. Ramachandran Central station with Ahmedabad. The service of Train No. 12656 Puratchi Thalaivar Dr. M.G. Ramachandran Central – Ahmadabad Navjivan Express will be operated with LHB coaches third rake (out of the four rakes) from 16 November.
The service of Train No. 12655 Ahmadabad – Puratchi Thalaivar Dr. M.G. Ramachandran Central Navjivan Express will be operated with LHB coaches third rake (out the four rakes) from 18 November.
Taking this into account there will be a change in the coach composition. While the existing coach composition of Navjivan Express is one AC first class coach, one AC 2-tier coach, five AC-3 tier coaches, 11 sleeper class coaches, three
general second class coaches, one pantry car and two luggage cum brake van coaches, the new coach composition is one AC first class coach, one AC 2-tier coach, five AC-3 Tier Coaches, 10 sleeper class coaches, two general second class coaches, one pantry car and two luggage cum brake van coaches.
