Hubbali connects with Chennai, thanks to Southern Railway

There is another happy news for the residents of Chennai on the railway front. This popular city is now connected to Hubbali in Karnataka, thanks to Southern Railway.

The prestigious establishment has announced a bi-weekly train which will run between the two popular cities of south India. Train No.17313/17314 Hubballi – Puratchi Thalaivar Dr. MGR Central – Hubballi Express will run between Chennai and Hubbali via Gadag, Ballari, Guntakal and Renigunta.

Railway sources further point out that regular services of Train No.17313 / 17314 Hubballi – Puratchi Thalaivar Dr. MGR Central – Hubballi Bi-Weekly Express will commence from Hubballi on 17 September and from Puratchi Thalaivar Dr. MGR Central on 18 September.

Train No. 17313 Hubballi – Puratchi Thalaivar Dr. MGR Central Bi-Weekly Express will depart from Hubballi at 9:05 pm on every Tuesday and Friday and arrive at Puratchi Thalaivar Dr. MGR Central at 10:50 am on next day.

Enroute the train will arrive and depart Gadag Β at 10:10/10:12 pm, Hosapete at 11:40/11:45 pm, Ballari at 1:25/1:30 am, Guntakal at 2:25/2:30 am, Cuddapah at 5:13/5:15 am, Renigunta at 07:55/08:00 am and Arakkonam – 9:08/9:10 am.

In the return direction Train No. 17314 Puratchi Thalaivar Dr. MGR Central – Hubballi Bi-Weekly Express will depart from Chennai Central at 3: 00 pm on every Wednesday and Saturday and arrive Hubballi at 5:15 am the next day.

Enroute the train will arrive/ depart Arakkonam at 4:08/4:10 pm, Renigunta at 6:20/6:25 pm,Cuddapah at 8:08/8:10 pm, Guntakal at 10:45/10:50 pm, Ballari at 12:25/12:30 am, Hosapete at 1:40/1:45 am and Gadag at 3:20/3:22 pm.

The composition of the train one AC 2-tier coach, two AC 3-tier coaches, six second class sleeper coaches, six general second class coaches and two second class with luggage cum brake-van coaches.Β
