TMKOC “Taarak Mehta Is Ooltah Chashma” was first registered on Sony Sab on 28 July 2008 under the banner of Neela Tele films and will be completing its 12 years of wonderful journey in 2 days.

It is the most lovable show that can be ever telecasted on Indian Television. The show has gained continuous love and support from the very first day of it’s telecast till now. Audience has always kept the show in top 5 TRP rates, when it is often seen that many shows starts, gain popularity very speedily and then lose it with the same speed, because of the quantity and quality of content they use, whereas TMKOC has always telecasted a new thing giving Real life lessons, creating suspenses every time in every new story.

Before lockdown, TMKOC completed its 2953 episodes which the TMKOC people call HAPPYSODES, as they work to make people laugh and smile. Most importantly when we see frequent change in characters of the serials, the show has continued with the same characters with a bit of change in emergencies only.

The show revolves around the Gokuldham Society of Powder Gali, Goregaon, Mumbai. The above mentioned people, though, being neighbours, live there as a family and celebrate all family functions together with great joy and happiness.
