Irfan Khan was an amazing Indian actor who was famous for his different, versatile, iconic, and creative roles. Irfan Khan was the attention seeker and always played his role to the mark in his movies.

His latest movie Angrezi Medium is a comedy-drama movie directed by Homi Adajania and produced by Maddock Films is a spiritual sequel of the 2017 movie Hindi Medium. The movie mainly stares Irfan Khan, Radhika Madan, Kareena Kapoor Khan, and Deepak Dobriyal.

Like in all movies if Irfan Khan, in ANGREZI MEDIUM also he played a very interesting role of a mithai wala named ‘Champak Bansal’ who was a single parent of her daughter ‘Tarika Bansal’ which is been played by Radhika Madan.

The movie starts from Udaipur and revolves around the father and daughter who always had a dream to go out of the country.

Champak had a conflict with his cousin brother ‘Ghasiteram’ who was also a mithai wala because of the real name of their grandfather in their property.

One day her daughter Tarika got a chance of going to London for her further studies, but because of her father’s crazy nature, she lost the free chance. Then Irfan Khan unknowingly promises her daughter to take her to London and get her admission to Trueford University that it costs 1 crore for three years of study in the UK.

Then he and Ghasiteram arrange to go to London but the story took a cut here. Daughter Tarika passed the security check but Champak and cousin got stuck, their Visa to visit the UK was canceled and were sent back to Delhi. Lonely Tarika asked for help and settled with a young Indian boy in the student’s house.

Tensed Champak and Ghasiteram with the help of one of their cousin Gajju played by Kiku Sharda they arranged going to London and found his daughter becoming self-reliant and trying to become independent like the other foreigners. Her attitude was changing towards her father.

Still, Champak decided to get her daughter admission to the University for which he was completely dependent on one of his friend Ballu (Ranvir Shorey). Champak and Ghasiteram stayed at Mrs. Kohli’s residence, mother of Naina Kohli (Kareena Kapoor Khan) who was the same police officer who caught them at airport when they entered the UK with an illegal passport.

Mrs. Kohli and her daughter were living at different residences since Naina was 18. Finally, after a hell-like struggle Champak succeded in getting her daughter admission in Trueford University spending 3 crores which he got by selling their grandfather’s name Ghasiteram to one of their competitor Bheluram. When Tarika knew all about his father’s struggle she drooped the idea of studying abroad and they went back to Udaipur.

In the era when the kids wish to stay apart from their parents and become independent after 18, this movie is a message to all those.

Well said by Irfan Khan in one of his dialogue in the movie ” 18 saal tak maa baap ko istmaal kro, fir freedom k naam par aap apna dekho ham apna dekhe, har maa baap ko jarurat hoti h k uska bacha jarurat par uska hath thame” . This movie is made on a different and realistic concept of life and highlights a different theme that touched the heat of the audience and rocked on.

This last movie of Irfan Khan had stolen many of the hearts and will always be known and remembered in his memory.
