A Review – MADE IN HEAVEN

Made in Heaven is a Hindi language Indian Amazon Prime web series premiered on March 8, 2019. The story shows the lives of Tara and Karan (Sobhita Dhulipala and Arjun Mathur) who are wedding Planners in a company named Made in Heaven running in Delhi.

Nitya Nehra and Prashant Nair directed this nine-episode single-season movie and according to rumors are working on the second season.

The story starts with Karan and Tara who are running a wedding planning company and wish to go far ahead in the journey, but as they move ahead in the journey they get to know the actual reality of the wedding planning business, that there are many marriage crises as well.

Now, the question arises on how they will deal with these problems, whether they will support honesty or not. As the series moves ahead new questions arise in front of them as well as the viewers.

Tara is married and her husband is a very rich man Adil Khanna (Jim Sarbh). She was born in a middle-class family and her mother has always groomed her to get married to a rich man and can come out of the poor dirty life. She has always considered her past unacceptable and is moving ahead but she is not happy in that phase as well, and even hating this phase more than that.

She shares all his feelings with Faiza Naqvi (Kalki Koechlin) but she got disconnected from her as well when she got to know some secret about her.

Karan also has many issues in his life. Most importantly he is having a big loan on his head and had to work with this company to continue to get rid of that loan.

Also, he is homosexual and is facing problems since his childhood until now. He doesn’t have good relations with his parents as well because of his homosexuality.

Some more characters are also playing lead roles in this series like Jasprit (Shivani Raghuvanshi) who is from a Middle-class family from Delhi and she is the only employed one in her family whose young brother is drug-addicted.

Another is the company’s official photographer Kabir (Sushant Arora) who sometimes is the narrator of the story. Last but not least is Shivani Baghchi (Natasha Singh) who is the star performer of the company and always seeks more and more salary as the company can’t afford to leave her.

This is a very long series and has many positive and negative points in it. Everyone can see this series with a different point of view which can’t be denied as you will find this correct from every view.

As you will start seeing this you will find it is the same as some Bollywood movies nut as you will reach the end of the first episode you will be very clear with the concept of this.
