Dr. Anita Paramasivan, a 48 years old Sonologist by profession and from Thiruvanmiyur, Chennai, had been crowned as the First Runner up for Dazzle Mrs.INDIA WORLD 2018 and the winner of Mrs.TALENTED INDIA WORLD 2018 by Dazzles events Parisa Communications recently. She was also nominated as Brand Ambassadress for a cause, the Breast Cancer Awareness for Tamil Nadu.
There were 60 participants from all over India for this prestigious event and though I am a busy Doctor, the passion for the creative and performing arts made me audition for this event and by sheer hard work was able to win the title also, she confessed. I am also an active Rotarian to serve mankind from the Rotary Club of Chennai K. K. Nagar, she added.
The journey of being a busy practitioner, to being crowned was a wonderful learning experience and paved my way to another world of glitz and glamour. This new platform I will be using to create breast cancer awareness which I am very passionate about. My talent round in the competition was in fact a MIME act depicting breast cancer awareness which won me the winner title as Mrs.Talented India world 2018. And with the support of various NGOs and Rotary Club of Chennai K.K.Nagar I have planned to organise conferences, seminars, events to create awareness of breast cancer in various government and private womens colleges,she said.

According to her, apart from Chennai, her team will cover this awareness program in rural areas such as, Arakkonam, Vellore, Kanchipuram, Chengalpet besides major cities across Tamil Nadu. And since she’s the Brand Ambassador for Breast Cancer awareness her target to meet 1 lakh students in this academic year, women in underprivileged and corporate sector, etc. to create awareness among them as this is a noble cause. Women should find that inner strength or passion within them and take time off to follow their dreams at least once in a while to get that happiness and sense of well being in them.
Breast Cancer awareness program kick started recently with the presence of celebrities like Mrs.Madhumita Vijay (Film Director), Mrs.Latha Krishna, Mrs.Thaara Umesh, Mr.Sanjay K. Asrani, Mr. M. Samuel Eddy, Rtn.R.Srinivasan, Rotary District Governor, Leading Industrialists, Corporates, Doctors, Rotarians and members from various NGOs.
