Ashwini Vaishnav, Minister of Union Railways and Information Broadcasting, stops by the Coimbatore train station

After travelling from Kozhikode railway station in Kerala to Coimbatore railway station in Tamil Nadu, Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnav was welcomed with open arms. Senior representatives from the Railway Department, Railway Security Force, Doordarshan, All India Radio, and Central Bureau of Communication Officers greeted the Union Minister at the Coimbatore Railway Station, where he was met by Pankaj Kumar Sinha, General Manager of the Salem Railway Division.
Following this, the Bharatiya Janata Party gave the Union Minister a hearty welcome. The Union Minister was warmly welcomed by Professor Kanakasabapathy, State Treasurer S R Shekhar, and President of the BJP National Women’s wing and MLA for the Coimbatore South Constituency Vanathi Srinivasan.
The Union Minister said “Vanakkam” in Tamil to acknowledge the reception. Members of the Coimbatore District Industry Association and other Railway Passengers Organisations also petitioned the Union Minister.
The Union Minister then departed the train station, travelled to the Coimbatore airport, and boarded a flight to Mumbai.
