The celebration of Diwali by the Indian American community

This year, Diwali—the festival of light—lit up many regions of the US. For the Indian American community in particular, the celebration of their customs was a welcome respite from the busy electioneering. a traditional temple to take part in the Diwali festivities in Atlanta, Georgia.

In the spirit of celebrations across the United States, Diwali was a wonderful time for the Indian American community to unite. Special prayers, feasts, and fireworks were held at the well-known Ambaji Mandir in Atlanta, Georgia. For the community, the traditional temple serves as a focal point for devotion, worship, and gathering.

On the evening of Diwali, devotees dressed traditionally flocked to the temple to take part in the rituals and pujas and receive the gods’ and goddesses’ darshan. On the grounds of the temple, a spectacular fireworks display was also planned. In the spirit of the holidays, people ignited crackers and had a good time with friends and family.
