The Foreign Ministry of Russia’s comment regarding the US elections

INN/New Delhi, @Infodeaofficial

Americans’ dissatisfaction with the Biden administration’s performance and the Democratic Party’s election platform, which was crafted by Vice-President Kamala Harris, who was selected in a hurry to succeed the incumbent President, is evident in Donald Trump’s victory in the presidential election and his return to the White House after a four-year absence.

As a counterbalance to the White House’s globalist course, the Republican candidate, drawing on his prior presidency’s experience, emphasised issues of genuine interest to the electorate, such as the economy and illegal migration, despite the overwhelming propaganda campaign Democrats launched against Donald Trump based on the administrative resources and support of the liberal media.

Under these conditions, the ruling party was unable to stop Kamala Harris from losing by using the long-failing American “democracy,” a system that is antiquated, antiquated, and incompatible with the contemporary norms of direct, fair, and transparent elections.

In the meantime, the United States, whose electorate has divided into nearly equal parts, is clearly experiencing civil conflict. In actuality, we are seeing conflict between states that lean Democratic and those that lean Republican, as well as between proponents of “progressive” and conventional beliefs. Donald Trump’s comeback can exacerbate internal conflicts and animosity between the opposing sides.

We have no illusions about the new Congress, where Republicans are said to have taken control, or the President-elect, who is well-known in Russia. The “containing Moscow” strategy and anti-Russian ideals are upheld by the US ruling class. Regardless of whether it is the Democrats’ emphasis on a “rules-based world order” or Trump and his followers’ “America above all,” this line is independent of shifts in the domestic political climate in the United States.

When it comes to the White House, Russia will engage with the next administration while adamantly defending Russia’s national interests and striving to fulfil all of the objectives of the special military operation. Washington is well aware that our circumstances have not changed.
