Yogoda Satsanga Society (YSS) at South Boag Road at T Nagar in Chennai will turn into a hub of activity on 22 June.

YSS has opened a new centre at T Nagar and that will be the place where International Yoga Day is being celebrated on 22 June from 10 am to 12 pm with a free programme to public.

According to sources, the programme includes an introduction to kriya yoga with guided meditation, presentation and lesson enrolment for those interested.

The Center has a meditation hall where programs are conducted regularly. Kriya Yoga, the ancient Raja-Yoga pranayama technique for God-realization, is taught here through the Yogoda Satsanga Lessons.

These lessons give Paramahansaji’s step-by-step instructions in the yoga techniques of meditation, energisation and concentration needed for Kriya Yoga initiation.

The Center also has a book shop with Paramahansa Yogananda’s writings and lectures. YSS was founded by Sri Sri Paramahansa Yogananda in 1917.

The mission of it is to make available to all the ancient scientific teachings, and meditation techniques of Kriya Yoga for achieving all-round success, well-being, and a direct personal experience of God.

YSS has more than 200 centers across India to help all Truth-seekers to experience the power of group meditations and to share in spiritual fellowship. YSS centre at T Nagar can be reached at 14A, 31 South Boag Road, T. Nagar, Chennai 600017. Learn more and register for free at: http://yssi.org/chnprin
