The second edition of the Vedic and Modern Science Second Conference is currently taking place at Bhrikuti Mandap in the Kathmandu Valley. It began on November 7 and will last for three days, with thousands of Nepalis attending. The symposium, which drew on the significance of old Vedic wisdom with contemporary science, was attended by over 70 specialists and representatives from several nations.
Speakers at the Vedic and Modern Science conference stressed that yoga, yagya, and meditation can lead to global peace, wealth, and growth. A Maha Yagya, which will conclude on October 10, was held on Thursday to spread Vedic knowledge. Rudrabhishek was done in the Mahayagya by 1,111 Vedic Pandits who engage in Siddhi Sadhana and spiritual meditation. During Mahayagya, devotees of the Vedic way of life joined the priests in chanting Vedic hymns.
The Eighth Organic Agricultural Fair and Exhibition is open to the public till Sunday in addition to the conference. More than fifty booths selling natural and organic agricultural products are part of the fair/exhibition. The event is anticipated to assist Nepal in bringing its natural and organic agricultural products to both domestic and foreign markets as the country attempts to carve out a position for itself in the global market as an organic food producer.
