Centre Did Not Allow Delhi Govt to ‘Account for Reasons Behind Deaths’

The AAP government in Delhi on Tuesday blamed the Center for a “concealment” since the episode of COVID-19 and not permitting it to “represent purposes for passings” during the pandemic. Vice president Minister Manish Sisodia made the charges in an articulation, after Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya dismissed the claim of under-announcing of Covid passings and revealed to Parliament that the Center had not requested any state to show less numbers from passings or more negative cases.

In the article, Sisodia said there was a deficiency of clinical oxygen during the pinnacle of the COVID-19 second wave. “The focal government has been running a concealment since the actual beginning of the pandemic. There’s no justification for that,” he said in his answer to a brief conversation on the COVID-19 pandemic in Rajya Sabha.
