Sharad Pawar, the leader of the Nationalist Congress Party, said on Tuesday that VIP trips to flood-affected areas should be avoided since they interfere with rescue and relief efforts.
Pawar told reporters that, based on his own experience, people who are not actively involved in rescue activities should avoid such visits. When asked about his party’s assistance to flood relief, the former Union minister remarked that these VIP trips placed undue strain on local machinery and officials and divert their attention from rescue and evacuation efforts.
To prevent the state machinery from being distracted from its duties, he stated he would not be visiting such regions in the future.
Pawar joked about Maharashtra Governor BS Koshyari’s visit to flood-affected districts on Tuesday, which was accompanied by suspended BJP MLA Ashish Shelar.
Nothing is wrong with him (Shelar) being more trusted by the governor. As a result of his appointment, Pawar added, the state will receive additional funds.

When asked about excessive rains and whether floods are caused by humans, he responded: “To solve this issue, a long-term programme is necessary. It is a problem to conduct construction in flood zones, although in some situations it may be overcome “If you’re interested in finding out more.
Pawar was asked how he would go about pressing the Union government for further help “(About the devastation caused by flooding and rain) The final statistics are not yet available. The Centre can be contacted once these data are finalised. As of this writing, the damage assessment has not been completed. On receiving the report, we’ll know what kind of assistance Maharashtra may expect from the Centre. Accordingly, we will meet with government authorities “He went on to say that he was a fan of
