A Tribute to those allegedly murdered in violence unleashed by the TMC following the results of the assembly, Leader of the opposition Suvendu Adhikari in the West Bengal Assembly said on Wednesday, “The great Calcutta killings of 1946 have been overshadowed by the state in the last two months.”

The findings of the NHRC on the post-poll violence report had “shaken the globe,” because at least 30 party activists have been slain by TMC thugs ever since the administration of Mamata Banerjee took over the state reins for the third time.

“After considering the NHRC report, which only showed the top of the iceberg, we hope that the judiciary will take action. This will bring disgrace to everyone with a healthy intellect.

“The big Calcutta massacres in 1946, the Noakhali riots and the Sikh killings in Bengal during the last two months have been overshadowed,” he remarked, in remembrance of workers purportedly slain in violence, as the BJP commemorated Shahid Shraddhanjali Divas.

The annual Shahid Divas TMC, incidentally on Wednesday, was virtually addressed to people during the day by Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee. Every year, Shahid Divas is commemorated by the Mamata Banerjee camp in honour of the 13 Youth Congressmen who died in 1993 in police action. Back then, Banerjee was a part of the youth wing of the big old party.

Sources in the BJP reported that in recent years, at least 175 party activists have been murdered in the state. The Nandigram MLA further stated that the TMC “would annihilate the BJP in the state by the state police, but they are wrong.” These attacks were led by the state police.

He added in a jab at the governing party, “A portion of Didi (CM Mamata Banerjee) milk-giving cows aggressively attacked the planned caste, including women and men. One shudders to think that ladies must suffer this type of torment. Due to lack of time, the NHRC was unable to take notice of many complaints. “

For its 25,000 homeless party members, followers and their families, the BJP has erected secure houses.

In another jab at Mamata Banerjee, CEO of the saffron camp, the member added, “She went everywhere from Bhawanipore to Nandigram to compete for the election. She was desperately rejected by people, and now, despite the COVID-19 scenario, was elected to the Assembly.

“A non-MLA CM runs the state, setting a new precedent. This administration will certainly be dislodged one day. Our tally rose from three in the Assembly to 77. “

He wanted to know why “the rules do not want to hold municipal polls that are long overloaded.”

“There’s only one post at her party and the remaining posts are lamps,” he said.

Then Adhikari further stated that only the mobility of the BJP personnel would have COVID-19 limitations, whereas the TMC had “at least 1000 protest rallies against the rise of gasoline throughout the previous several weeks.”

Agnimitra Paul, another BJP law maker, stated, “Despite everything, our CM wife is still immovable.” They slammed Banerjee for her “silence in the crimes committed against Bengali women.”
