Chandrababu Naidu, the chief minister, stated on Saturday that implementing new power-saving techniques will significantly raise people’s living conditions, making power conservation just as vital as energy production. Speaking at a gathering to launch the State Government’s Urjaveer program in partnership with Energy Efficiency Services Limited, a joint venture of the Public Sector Undertakings of the Centre on enhancing energy efficiency and sustainability, the Chief Minister expressed regret that the previous administration had forced the power sector into a serious crisis over the previous five years.

The chief minister made it apparent that the entire Energy Department is being completely cleaned up and pledged to treat customers fairly by improving the department’s efficiency rather than changing the electricity rates. Chandrababu Naidu announced the imminent establishment of an energy institution in the state, stating that green energy, solar power, and wind power are being promoted extensively.

He added that the groundwork has been established for initiatives that would create 7.5 lakh employment and expressed optimism that more than Rs 10 lakh cr will be invested in the State over the next five years. According to Chandrababu, initiatives have also been implemented to raise public revenue by 15% by 2047. He is adamant that raising public knowledge on a broad scale is necessary to accomplish this aim.

Several Cabinet Ministers, senior officers, including Manoharlal Khattar, the Union Minister for Energy, Housing, and Urban Affairs, were in attendance. According to the Chief Minister, Manoharlal Khattar is essential to the realisation of Vikasitha Bharat-2047. According to the Chief Minister, 12,000 people signed up as Urjaveers in a single week, which is a very positive development since the State Government wants to promote one lakh Urjaveers. The Chief Minister urged the Union Minister to give the State more consideration as he wrapped up his speech.
