On Sunday, Congress president Sonia Gandhi addressed the MPs from Punjab in front of the arrangement of Navjot Singh Sidhu as the Punjab PCC chief and guaranteed them to determine any issues that arose during the administration of Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh in the state.

Among the individuals who addressed Gandhi over telephone in regards to the issues being apparently looked under Amarinder Singh-drove government in Punjab were – Anandpur Sahib MP Manish Tewari, Rajya Sabha MP Pratap Singh Bajwa, Ludhiana MP Ravneet Bittu, Amritsar MP Gurjeet Aujla, Fatehgarh Sahib MP Amar Singh and others.

Prior, these MPs had composed a letter to Gandhi and had looked for an arrangement to communicate their perspectives on infighting that arose inside the Congress.

As indicated by sources, a MP from Punjab Congress had even communicated his failure over party central leadership meeting Sidhu just and not others to talk about the gathering’s interior issue.

It is being said that another MP called attention to the fact that senior heads of the Congress were not given “inclination” in the gathering.

For the unversed, Gandhi on Sunday named Navjot Singh Sidhu as the Congress’ new Punjab unit president alongside four Working Presidents.

Sangat Singh Gilzian, Sukhvinder Singh Danny, Pawan Goel, and Kuljit Singh Nagra were named as Working Presidents.

While Sidhu’s name was gone against Amarinder Singh who composed a letter to Gandhi, however on Saturday, Congress’ state in-control Harish Rawat traveled to Chandigarh to mollify the pouting Chief Minister.

After the gathering, Amarinder Singh repeated that any choice of the Congress boss would be adequate yet said he raised certain issues which Rawat said he would take up with her.
