UGC’s preliminary proposal for the CUET-UG Exam’s administration

The CUET-UG exam was administered in hybrid mode this year, but starting in 2025, UGC plans to administer it in computer-based test (CBT) mode. The maximum number of subjects that the applicants may appear in is five (05).
Within the permitted maximum of five topics, candidates may take any subjects in the CUET, regardless of the subjects they chose for Class XII. The NCERT syllabus will serve as the basis for the question standards.
According to CUET-UG 2024, the examination would be administered in 13 different languages: English, Hindi, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, and Urdu. In a similar vein, the 2025 CUET-PG exam will be administered by computer-based testing (CBT).
