Students of Amity University Madhya Pradesh Won “Wipro Earthian Awards”

Fourteen schools and ten colleges from across the country were given the “Wipro Earthian Awards” for 2018 in recognition of excellence in sustainability within the education process. Diwakar Arodiya, Siddharth Singh Tomar, Nitesh Singh and Sharad Iyer from Amity Institute of Biotech (AIB) made Amity University, Gwalior proud by winning the “Wipro Earthian Awards” for 2018 in recognition of their report about the ‘Waste Management Scenario of Gwalior City- “Gwalior’s Waste Paradox.”
Amity Gwalior was among the ten colleges from across the country who were awarded the Wipro Earthian Awards from 1300 entries. The awards were given by Azim Premji, Chairman, Wipro Limited as part of a daylong event at Wipro’s Bengaluru campus. The teams from various colleges submitted their entries on themes which were; water, waste and transportation in the urban sector.
