UP CM Yogi extends an invitation for Mahakumbh 2025 to President Murmu and Vice President Dhankhar.

During their Sunday meeting in New Delhi, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath extended an invitation to President Droupadi Murmu to attend the Mahakumbh 2025 in Prayagraj. Additionally, Yogi Adityanath invited Delhi Lieutenant Governor Vinay Kumar Saxena, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, and Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar to the great celebration.

As part of the invitation, CM Yogi sent dignitaries special gifts, such as a journal, a New Year table calendar, a kalash (holy urn), information about the event, and a sign with the Mahakumbh 2025 emblem. On Saturday, the chief minister of Uttar Pradesh arrived in New Delhi. The Chief Minister has been actively contacting well-known individuals to secure their participation in the Mahakumbh, which is set to occur from January 13 to February 26, 2025.

CM Yogi met with Mizoram Governor General VK Singh, BJP National President and Union Health Minister Jagat Prakash Nadda, former President Ram Nath Kovind, Home Minister Amit Shah, and Defence Minister Rajnath Singh on Saturday. Personalized invitations and Mahakumbh-related keepsakes were sent to each of them. In a post on his official social media account, “X,” on Sunday, CM Yogi thanked the dignitaries for their time and included pictures from the meetings.

The Uttar Pradesh government has stepped up efforts to invite dignitaries and members of the public from all over the nation in the weeks leading up to the event. The outreach initiatives in several states are being directly led by the chief minister and his cabinet ministers.
