The “Sea Vigil-24” Pan-India Coastal Defence Exercise is scheduled for November 20 and 21

The fourth edition of the “Pan-India” Coastal Defence Exercise, “Sea Vigil-24,” will take place on November 20 and 21 in order to assess the effectiveness of different security agencies. With the participation of 21 organisations and agencies and six ministries, the Indian Navy’s fourth Ex Sea Vigil will reach a hitherto unheard-of geographic scope and level of participation.
The coastal protection of the states of Gujarat, Maharashtra, Goa, Karnataka, and the Union Territory of Daman & Diu falls under the purview of Western Naval Command. Exercise Sea Vigil 24 will take place in all of these places at the same time. ICG, State Marine Police, Customs, CISF, Department of Fisheries, DG Shipping, Port Authorities, Oil Handling Agencies, DG Light Houses & Light Ships, and BSF are among the leading agencies that take part in Sea Vigil.
