The Indian Navy’s third iteration of the Naval Innovation and Indigenisation (𝧙ٙO) Seminar, dubbed Swavlamban 2024, is slated to take place at Bharat Mandapam from October 28 to 29.

The Indian Navy has received over 2000 submissions from the Indian industry during the last two editions of Swavlamban. These proposals have been turned into 155 challenges to help with prototype development. Through the iDEX Scheme, this program has made it possible to collaborate with over 200 MSMEs and startups.

It is anticipated that “Swavlamban 2024” would expand on the knowledge and understanding acquired from organising earlier seminars and offer fresh, significant energy to the goal of innovation and indigenisation. On October 28 and 29, at Hall 14, Pragati Maidan, the event will feature products of specialised technologies such air and surface surveillance, autonomous systems in surface, airborne, and undersea domains, Al, and quantum technologies.

Policy makers, innovators, startups, MSMEs, financial institutions, and venture capitalists will have the chance to interact during domain-specific interactive sessions on October 29 at Bharat Mandapam. Topics to be discussed and debated include emerging technologies, future warfare, indigenisation, boosting the innovation ecosystem, and fostering an innovative culture.
