Salutations to Veterans and Veer Naris at Trehgam Garrison

The Zila Sainik Board and the Hajipir Brigade collaborated to host an ex-servicemen’s meeting at Trehgam garrison today in an effort to promote the welfare of the Veer Naris and Kupwara’s ex-servicemen.

Thirty-five former Kupwara and Baramulla servicemen and six Veer Naris attended the event.Current topics like as OROP, the Sparsh portal, tax regimes, the advantages of DSP accounts, ECHS schemes, and insurance offered by banks’ pension accounts were discussed with the ex-servicemen.

The dedication of the recently remodelled Hajipir CSD waiting lounge, which features modern periodicals and an information desk to keep the vetrans digitally informed on pertinent subjects pertaining to them, was one of the meeting’s major highlights.

The event is another effort by the Indian Army’s Chinar Warriors to improve the lives of our Kupwara recipient soldiers.The brigade staff swiftly addressed the veterans’ concerns regarding ECHS cards, OROP pension benefits, and other matters that they brought up in the forum.Additionally, the Commander of the Hajipir Brigade and his crew had a positive interaction with the veterans throughout the ceremony. This was followed by Veer Naris’s congratulations.
