Happy Dussehra to the army commanders and Air Warriors taking part in the IAF Vayu Veer Vijeta Car Rally! Today, J&K Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha kicked off the “Himalayan Cruisers” from Raj Bhawan. He claimed that the IAF has always bravely and valiantly defended the country. “You are the masters of the sky, renowned for your daring devil actions that eliminate adversaries and shield citizens during natural disasters,” he declared.
Along with him were several military luminaries, including Chairman UWM and rally’s creator, Tarun Vijay, and Air Commodore Prabhat Malik, the head of the Srinagar IAF Air Base. Along with rally leader Wg leader Vijay Prakash Bhatt and AUR Commodore Prabhat Malik, Tarun Vijay gave a rally souvenir to Manoj Sinha.
The Himalayan Thunder IAF automobile rally seeks to raise public awareness of the outstanding accomplishments of the Air Force and to encourage young people to enlist in the military. On the 14th evening, it arrives at Dehradun, and on the 15th, it pays respect to the fallen soldiers at the Uttarakhand War Memorial, Shaurya Sthal. From there, it passes through Guwahati, Agra, Lucknow, Darbhanga, Coochbehar, and Guwahati before arriving in Tawang on October 28. Droupadi Murmu, the President of India, has also expressed her best wishes for the rally.
