From December 1st to December 8th, 2024, the Foreign Training Node in Pune is hosting the first iteration of the Cambodia-India Joint Table Top Exercise, or CINBAX-I 2024. The drill, which involves 20 soldiers from each side, is an important milestone in defence cooperation.

The contingents demonstrated the value of traditional practices in combat readiness by combining tradition and modernity through the Army Martial Arts Routine (AMAR) and a Joint Yoga Session. A exhibition of cutting-edge tools and weaponry also showcased improvements in contemporary military capabilities, while a joint firing exercise showed tactical accuracy and operational coherence.

Joint Counter-Terrorism (CT) activities under Chapter VII of the UN Charter are simulated in this planning-focused exercise. With contingents striving for improved interoperability and operational efficiency in peacekeeping missions, topics of discussion include intelligence, cyberwarfare, logistics, and HADR operations. CINBAX-I 2024 highlights the expanding collaboration between India and Cambodia and fortifies bilateral connections.
