Following a grenade attack in Srinagar, LG Manoj Sinha leads a forceful response

Following a grenade attack in Srinagar that injured eleven people, Lieutenant Governor of Jammu and Kashmir Shri Manoj Sinha addressed senior security authorities and Director General of Police (DGP) Shri Nalin Prabhat. To bring the offenders and their associates to justice, the Lieutenant Governor ordered security authorities to respond with force and effectiveness.
All India Radio Srinagar and Doordarshan Kendra Srinagar, two crucial Information and Broadcasting Ministry offices, are within a 100-meter radius of the Tourist Reception Centre (TRC), where the incident occurred earlier in the day. Immediately, the area’s security was tightened.
The Lieutenant Governor reaffirmed the government’s determination to foil terrorist elements’ plans, saying, “Those who target our citizens will suffer serious repercussions for their acts. Every effort must be made to fulfil the task of dismantling terror networks, which security services are fully authorised to undertake.
In addition to wishing everyone hurt in the event a quick recovery, the lieutenant governor gave the district administration instructions to help the victims and their families in whatever way they could.
