Today at Gulshan Mahal in Mumbai, the National Museum of Indian Cinema unveiled the groundbreaking Narrowcasters Audio Guide, which offers an immersive self-guided trip through the history of Indian cinema.
Artists Anup Soni, Shruti Prakash, Christine Sharma of Narrowcasters, and D. Ramakrishnan, General Manager of NFDC, presented this new project, which would improve the visiting experience. According to Anup Soni, this effort will provide tourists a full cinematic experience, and the facility will make things more convenient by connecting them to the museum. He encouraged the Indians to visit the museum and complimented the team.
Shruti Prakash connected the immersive audio guide experience to her early Walkman usage experiences. She was thrilled about how this new project would improve tourists’ knowledge of Indian cinema. Visitors will be able to tour NMIC’s exhibitions and learn about the history of Indian film by using the audio guide. There are currently three languages available, and more will be added soon.
The audio tour would provide visitors a deeper knowledge of the museum’s displays and bring the history and stories of Indian film to life, according to D. Ramakrishnan, who emphasised the importance of the audio guide. He underlined that NMIC-NFDC is dedicated to improving visitor engagement by implementing cutting-edge programs and technology, such as the Narrowcasters Audio Guide.
