14,030 applicants in Ladakh enrolled for the OMR-based Matric Level Examinations administered by the LAHDC-Kargil Subordinate Service Recruitment Board (KSSRB) today at 26 testing locations in Zanskar and Kargil Headquarters. Strong involvement in the recruiting process for various District Cadre Posts is demonstrated by the 11,204 individuals who took the exam.
Shrikant Suse, the Deputy Commissioner of Kargil and Chairman of the Board, oversaw a visit of several centres and personally reviewed the exam setup. In order to guarantee a fair and seamless examination, senior officials, including Examination Observers Ghulam Mohiuddin (ADC, Kargil), Maqbool Hussain (SE, PHE/I&FC Department Kargil), Abdul Hadi (CPO/JDP, Kargil), and Romil Singh Donk (SDM Zanskar), as well as Controller of Examination Iftikhar Hussain (DTO, Kargil) and LAHDC-KSSRB member Dr. Gulzar Hussain (CAO, Kargil), oversaw the procedure.
To ensure openness, the district administration put strict processes into place in conjunction with the LAHDC-KSSRB. To maintain integrity and order, exam centres were outfitted with CCTV cameras, duty magistrates, and sufficient security personnel. Multiple sets of question booklets and carbon copies of OMR sheets were provided for candidates to self-evaluate as part of the structured examination process.
Noting the favourable comments from candidates about the open processes, Dr. Khanzada Mohd. Usman, Deputy Director of Employment and Secretary of LAHDC-KSSRB, expressed satisfaction with the logistical arrangements and participation rate.
