VELAMMAL CELEBRATED WORLD ENVIRONMENT DAY

Velammal Main school, Mogappair campus hosted world Environment Day to highlight the harmful effects of pollution earlier today.
Students of Class 6 to 8 displayed paintings focusing on the theme “Beat plastic pollution and conserve nature. Brainstorming session on to how to reduce the heavy burden of pollution was discussed and preventive measures to avoid pollution was conveyed to the students. Videos related to pollution was shown to bring an awareness about the degrading environmental conditions. Students took an oath for a cleaner and sustainable planet.
