Top def official visits TN school

Sainik School at Amaravatinagar in Tamilnadu was the center of attraction recently when top officials of the Indian Navy visited it. Sources from Defence Ministry said Vice Admiral AK Chawla, Flag Officer Commanding-in-Chief, Southern Naval Command visited Sainik School.
Vice Admiral also chaired the 121st Local Body Administration (LBA) meet at Chennai on 13 September.

The meeting was also attended by representatives of the Government of Tamil Nadu. During the meeting, various measures towards improving the functioning of the school were discussed and the school progress report was also presented by the principal.

The Admiral was happy to note that the school was adjudged as the best-managed school by the Indian School Awards in 2019.
