SRMIST Hosted The Techfest Ubertech 2018

The Ubertech 2018, technical fest in national level was conducted by the Computer Science and Engineering Department as part of ACE club of SRMIST, Vadapalani. The department took the initiative to encouraged the spirit of science and technology and equips students that serves as a platform for them to showcase their talents and their interest towards various technologies.
The Inaugural function was privileged by the presence of Dr. D. George Washington, Director, Knowledge Data Center at Anna University and Mr. Anantharaman Prakash, Vice President of Renault Nissan Technology Business Center of India who served as chief guest. The Chief guest
was felicitated by Dr. K. Duraivelu, Dean (E&T) and Dr. S. Prasanna Devi , HOD, CSE Dept.
Dr. Washington encouraged the students with his inspiring life lessons and valuable insights about his experience in the academia world.
Mr. Anantharaman Prakash delivered an address on the emerging ideas in the automotive field and the role of computer engineers in that field. The inaugural function was concluded by vote of thanks given by Mr. Jervin, President of ACE club.
