Shreya’s 2018 at Shasun College

SHREYAS 2018 was organized by Shri Shankarlal Sundarbai Shasun Jain College for Women for its Annual Inter- Collegiate Cultural Fest that was held last September 24th and 25th 2018. The theme for this year was ‘AURA’ which revolved all the competitions around it. In this mega event, 35 Colleges from in and around the City took part. Mr.Vivek, an Actor and Activist, Mr.Ganesh Venkatraman, the Big Boss Fame and Ms.Nisha, an Actress and Alumnus of Shasun College and Mr. Velmurugan, the Playback Singer, were the Chief Guest for the Inaugural session.

Shri. S. Abhaya Kumar Jain, Secretary of the college welcomed the gathering and advised the students to take up the challenges to flourish in their future. Dr. Poorna, the Principal, wished the students to perform well and transform themselves as a great performers. While Mr. Ganesh Venkatraman gave anecdotes to explain the importance of team work and so with Ms.Nisha who appreciated the management for their encouragement and support. And Mr. Vivek emphasizes the value of parents and Guru(Teacher) in one’s life, backing up by Mr. Velmurugan who enthralled the gathering with his flawless singing.

The festivities comprises with events like classical dance, Rj Hunt, mime, group singing and ramp walk to name a few. Participants from various Colleges mesmerizes the audience with their graceful performances and turned the event more grandeur, lively and enjoyable. The walk-in guests valuable presences and performances added feather in a cap of the ‘Aura’. And Mr. Sridhar, the Lead Choreographer,  who appreciated the participants and advised the students not to give-up easily with their lives. Mr. Rio Raj, a T.V Fame and Mr. Veerabahu an Actor were the Chief Guest for the Valedictory Session.

Bottomline.. to provide holistic education to the development of the students is the ultimate aim of Shasun Jain College which provides endless opportunities to fulfill the students dream. Various endorsing competitions, distinguished chief guests and walk-in guests for the grand event proved SHREYAS 2018 is an unforgettable occasion to all the performers and energetic audience. SHREYAS 2018 ‘AURA’ in Shasun was filled with  energy and talents.
