INTER-SCHOOL CULTURAL COMPETITION HELD AT VELAMMAL

Velammal’s main school, Mugappair campus hosted the OVATION 2018, an Inter-School Cultural Competition for students last November 17, Saturday with great zeal and enthusiasms.
The chief guest was Mr. Sathish Muthukrishnan, a Cine actor inaugurated the auspicious occasion by lighting the lamp. He gave an inspiring and motivating speech and advised the students for an all round development in all skills to enhance their personality.
More than 7000 participants took part in the event competitions like brain teaser, instrumental music, designer logo, strokes. And western dance were organized for the students with prizes worth two lakhs were given to the winners.
A wide variety of Cultural performance was staged during the inaugural ceremony. The event aims to encouraged the students to adopt innovative techniques and develop their ideas and skills.
