IIT-Hyderabad to organise E-Summit 2k20

Indian Institute of Technology, Hyderabad (IIT-H) will be the cynosure of all eyes on 18 and 19 January, thanks to ‘E-Summit 2k20.’ The mega event will be organised by E Cell of IIT-H.

This is said to be one of the biggest entrepreneurship conclaves in India and it aims to inspire and educate students inclined towards entrepreneurship and encourage early entrepreneurs to take and manage bigger risks.

The event also aspires to provide more business world insights to the attendees with help of experts from the  industry. The theme for the two-day event is ‘Re-envisioning India 2020.’

A series of talks and panel discussions have been scheduled to delve deeper into the idea of innovation itself and what a startup needs to flourish in the market.

The E-Cell had initiated an outreach that covered more than 1,00,000 people. Over 90 startups are expected to participate in this event. The two-day affair will also host various contests and panel discussions.

Among the contests is ‘E-Pic(Elevator-Pitch),’ where the contestant has to bring forward a business idea and present it before the panel of judges in an attempt to get funding for it.

The other contest is ‘Biz-Quiz,’ which is a quizzing competition with teams of 3, this will check the knowledge of the business world and provide participants with some new insights. This round is divided into prelims and finals.

‘The Investor’s Perspective’ is among the topics for panel discussion. Panel will englighten the budding startups about what investors are look forward in the startups.

The other topic for panel discussions  is ‘The need for the secondary sector,’ here the panel will provide insight into job sectors in India and discuss the possibility of shifting this trend in the future and need for jobs in the production and manufacturing industry to meet the needs.

‘Also, we will discuss about new decade technology and startups who will penetrate deep into the Indian as well as foreign markets.’
