ICSEE- 2019: The International Conference on Sustainable Environment and Energy

The Department of Civil Engineering of Hindustan Institute of Technology and Science (HITS) Chennai, organized SERB, DST sponsored 2nd International Conference on Sustainable Environment and Energy ICSEE-2019 during 21st and 22nd of February 2019. Dr. Mrs. Elizabeth Verghese, Chancellor, HITS presided over the function. The Chief Guest of the conference was Dr. Muthupandian Ashokkumar, Asst. Deputy Vice Chancellor International, University of Melbourne, Australia. The Guests of Honour were Dr. Rizalman Mamat, Dean Mechanical Engineering, Universiti Malaysia Pahang, Malaysia, Dr. Riyadh Al-Ameri, Director Higher Degrees by Research, Deakin University, Australia, Dr. Juan Luis Ramous Suarez, Co-Founder and Technical Director, Incom Biogenfer S.L., Gran Canaria, Spain.

This conference provided an interactive platform with reputed scientists in national and international level viz., subject experts, young researchers and future scientists as well. It was one of the most successful conferences that was organized by HITS. By publishing the conference, papers in the area of hydrogen energy as special issue in the peer-reviewed International Journal of Hydrogen Energy (Elsevier Publisher). Research and development on novel methodology, efficient materials and sustainable process plays vital role in societal development. In this direction of the conference, it provides a comprehensive platform with latest technologies in the inter-disciplinary subjects. During the conference inauguration, MOU was signed between Hindustan Institute of Technology and Science, India and Universiti Malaysia Pahang, Malaysia.
