HINDUSTAN INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY AND SCIENCE CELEBRATED NATIONAL EDUCATION DAY 2018

The National Education Day was celebrated at Hindustan Institute of Technology and Science last September 11, Friday at the school’s Good Shepherd Hall at 11.30 AM. The event was organized by Dr. T. Jayapoovan, Professor, Department of Mechanical Engineering in association with the Office of Student Affairs and around hundred faculties and staff, attended the event.
The affair started with the invocation song followed by the welcome address and felicitation rendered by Dr. K. P. Isaac, Vice Chancellor, Hindustan Institute of Technology and Science. The chief guest was introduced by Dr. Baby Joseph, Dean Research. The Chief Guest Dr. K. Sarukesi, former Vive-Chancellor of HITS delivered a special message to the participants in the topic of “Attitude is Everything”. His sensational speech motivated everyone and he stressed upon the attitude of the learners and educators for the prosperity and perseverance of the youth. He also emphasized the importance of the habits like listening, reading and preparation of notes to transform the students to be a leader of the future.
