The international event Miss World 2025 is being proudly hosted by Telangana

Telangana will proudly host the 72nd edition of Miss World, the most famous beauty contest in the world, when it returns to India. The Miss World Competitions will take place in a number of locations around Telangana over the course of 28 days, from May 4 to May 31. Hyderabad will host the opening and closing ceremonies.

Telangana Tourism Minister Jupally Krishna Rao stated that complex preparations are being made for the event, which draws interest from several nations, during a pre-event press conference in Hyderabad today. According to him, Telangana is ideally suited to host the event because of its rich cultural heritage and customs.

In addition to increasing tourism, he conveyed the expectation that the Miss World pageants will bring in investments for the state. According to the minister, the occasion would introduce the globe to Telangana’s customs, cuisine, and tourism attractions. Christina Pyszkova, the 71st Miss World, spoke about the event and stated India had a lot more to give. She said Hyderabad’s culture has greatly impressed her and that India is a fantastic country.

Smita Sabharwal, the Telangana State Principal Secretary for Tourism and Culture, also spoke to the audience. According to her, the Miss World finalists would be welcomed with much pomp and circumstance at Rajiv Gandhi International Airport in Shamshabad when they arrive in Hyderabad on May 6 and 7. The inauguration event, which will feature Telangana’s folk and tribal dances, will take place at Gachibowli Stadium on May 10, the senior secretary stated.
