The 38th Roundtable on South Asian Language Analysis is underway

Today marks the second day of the 38th South Asian Languages Analysis Round Table at the National Institute of Electronics and Information Technology Meriema Kohima. The Central Institute of Indian Languages, Mysuru, and the Government of Nagaland sponsored the program, which was hosted by the department of Tenyidie Nagaland University, Kohima Campus.

A long-standing annual gathering for the exchange of research on South Asian languages of all kinds is the South Asian Languages Analysis Round Table.

The significance of linguistics and language analysis in South Asia was emphasised by Professor MJ Warsi, President of the Linguistic Society of India, during his speech at the inaugural program.Warsi also emphasised the importance of linguistic diversity and the difficulties in fostering linguistics both locally and globally, which call for cooperative efforts.

.He also discusses the strong linguistics culture in the northeast, and he exhorts the next generation of linguists to advocate for and study linguistics languages as well as to promote linguistics education.

On the other hand, participants from various states will attend the SALA Roundtable event, which will take place at the National Institute of Electronics and Information Technology in Meriema, Kohima, from November 28 to 29.
